The story of Senior Suki
We at @raincoastdogrescue had gotten multiple messages online, text, and calls about a senior dog that was abandoned on a property out in the remote area of, Sooke, BC.
The owners had the dog living outside on a chain with a shitty dog house. They both just left her behind like trash when they moved away, and the property owner wanted her gone. He was not a kind person to deal with.
That’s when the amazing Sooke community stepped in and made the story go viral online, and we were asked to step in to help. We overwhelmingly agreed to go help this beautiful senior girl. As no dog, and especially no senior dog, deserves to be forced to live like that and abandoned. With the help of some local community members we were able to get Suki off her chain and set her free to the life she truly deserves.
This sweet senior bully girl has won over all our hearts with her gentle and loving demeanor. Suki has some permanent medical conditions she is living with, but she is still full of love and life!
