Meet Adoptable Charlie! Charlie is a 7-8 year old, male, 60lb, mixed breed. Charlie was rescued by us after being a roaming dog in a community for years. He spent a lot of time living outside and being on his own. When we first rescued him he was covered in skin infections on the underside of his body, and was admitted to the emergency vet for a few days for treatments, before being released into a medical foster where he still is being cared for today. Nova Update! Nova is 6 (born in late 2019) An update for Nova’s profile… Nova has been consistently gaining weight and is almost at her ideal 25kg. Despite being diagnosed with megaesophagus, she has been eating well with the new food consistency and does not need to be held upright after meals. Her regurgitation issues have drastically decreased and happen mainly after drinking water. She has been successfully adjusted to three meals a day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) from four meals and the goal is to get her to two meals a day (breakfast and dinner) With her improved health she has started to show her energetic side.
