Adoptable Banjo

Meet Adoptable Banjo!

Banjo is a 2 year old, male, 54lb, Belgian Malinois. Banjo is a very sweet, loving, and kind dog that is looking for a very specific type of guardian, family, home. Banjo is people friendly; but he is a working dog, and as such we are being very specific to whom adopts him. We would like someone who has a good amount of dog experience, even better if they have had a Malinois before. Someone that is athletic, healthy, and very active in their lifestyle. That spends lots of time outdoors, has lots of time for him to continue his constant training, and would engage regularly in training activities such as agility, scent detection, disc, protection work, or other types of high stimulation and enrichment activities and training, that will greatly benefit Banjo and his needs. We would love someone that has a house with a large and secured yard with high fences, or property, lots of space; and perhaps someone that works from home, part time from home, and or can bring him to work in an enriching environment. Banjo would like to be the only dog in the home at this time, and he would would prefer no cats or young kids at this time too please. He is currently located on Southern Vancouver Island. We want to kindly ask people only apply if you fit into this specific criteria we are requesting. We will not be making any exceptions outside of this, as this is for Banjo and his needs as a Belgian Malinois, and as a super rad athletic working dog. We truly appreciate your understanding and support. Banjo came to us after he was needing support with a life saving surgery, in which he had a foreign blockage removed from his intestine. He has long since healed up well and is ready for his forever home! β™₯οΈπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸ½

We would like to talk to you about Banjo.

If i was to adopt him he would be my 3rd Mal.

I do currently have a 10yo spayed female Mal who I have worked with for 8 years. She has helped me help dogs with other dog aggression issues. She is slightly crippled and came to me as a 2yo with the injury.

My first Mal was trained for tracking and due to a relationship breakdown is no longer with me.

Please feel free to call, I have some short video of my previous Mal and current Mal I can share to help you understand my role in their lives.

It would be great to speak with you.
