Meet Adoptable Kearney!
Kearney is a 8 month old, male, 31lb, brindle. Staffordshire Terrier, mixed breed. Kearney came to us from living outside on a chain while being badly emaciated. Since his arrival he has been gaining weight and starting to learn all the things about indoor living and the big world outside when on walks. He is only 31lbs at 8 months old and will most likely stay around 40lbs full grown. He is currently located in Victoria, BC.
Words from his foster Mom: Kearney has been a great foster. He is a gentle natured pup who loves meeting people, but he is still pretty cautious of new environments. With some encouragement he works through it. He’s been quick to learn potty training, has just mastered the sit command, and he’s very food motivated, so learns pretty fast if there’s treats involved! He loves naps on the couch, stealing your socks, and being as close to you as possible. He’s still new to making dog friends, but so far his interactions are very calm, submissive and positive towards others. He waits for others to approach him instead of being reactive. He’ll be a well trained, snuggly best friend to anyone.

Would love to apply to potentially adopt this beautiful young soul. We are a family of 5…myself (Lauren), my partner Colleen, my daughter Thea, who is 4, our cat Luna and our Corgi named Tilly (she’s just turned 7).
We live in the Comox valley and would love to submit a formal application for Kearney, if he is still available.

Hello, thank you for your message. Everyone is welcome to apply once the dogs are officially posted up for adoptions with their name attached. If you’re looking at the small breed pops, they are very popular and we are sure to have over 100 applications for them. It’ll be very difficult to choose, and we’re just gonna go through our process and do our best to make the difficult decision by next weekend. They will be officially posted this weekend early next week for people to apply. Thank you very much.
